CALLING ALL SAINTS

Calling all Saints to continue in prayer for my Mom. She had her follow up Dr. appt today and they told her the two spots on her right side were still cancer and had slightly grown. Also, mentioned something about a lymphoid. Asked her to come back in two weeks for a pet scan, but because my older sister is having a baby postponed it until the first week in March.

While I have your attention...allow me to mention a few more urgent matters.

Every one of us have to quit slacking in a our prayer lives. It is not okay. It is not a matter of whether we feel like it or not. Whether it is convenient or not. Whether we want to or not. We must repent for failing to do what we know we should do. Then do something different today. IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS and PRAY WITHOUT STOPPING.

Let your first thoughts of the day turn towards the Lord. Ready your mind for action.  The Saints of old prayed and fasted and humbled themselves and judged him faithful who had promised. There are too many people in need of some serious prayer for us to be coming at life's difficulties ill prepared.  Acknowledge Him, bend your knees, surrender, for we have nothing worth having outside of His holy love and faithfulness.

Husbands and wives cannot stay in covenant without asking for heaven's help. It is impossible to lay down your lives for one another without the Wonderful, Counselor, Everlasting Father, Mighty God and the Prince of Peace showing you the way. Parents cannot lovingly discipline and train up their children in the way they should go without the Father of every good and perfect gift assisting them and teaching them how. And how on earth can we love our neighbor as ourself if we do not daily communicate with the Friend that sticks closer than a brother? Having lips that confess Jesus name is the least that we can do. If the Lord delights in giving us more than we could ask or think. Then let's start Asking and Thinking! Expect change when God's people pray.
