PERSPECTIVE IN DIFFICULTY

I think the Lord is able to better teach us that which we need to remember when we discern the truth of a matter after the heat of the moment has passed. If we always came up with the right response in that moment, we might slowly forget our constant need of Him. (in the words of my friend)

Jesus plus nothing is the answer. Call on Jesus. Call someone who will call on Jesus. Whosoever calls upon the name of Jesus shall be saved. He is the ALL SUFFICIENT ONE.

Going through difficulty can deepen our love and our faith. Remember what Jesus said in John 14...LET NOT YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED, BELIEVE GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME. Recall what the people said to Jesus when Lazarus was dead and buried. Lord, if you had only been here he would not have died. Of course, they believed they would see him at the resurrection of the saints. Jesus said, I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE! They had to believe before they could see the glory of God. Jesus believed and He spoke and here comes Lazarus walking out of the tomb. Believe, speak, and see the glory of God.
