By daily applying The Word of God we are going to keep cultivating the garden of our hearts. Without prayer we dry out and start to rot. Emptiness is all there is when we fail to put the Word of God before our eyes, and forget to hide it in our hearts. He is what we need to live and move and have our being. Romans 5 reminds us that we should not shrink back from hardship, because it is our opportunity to really grow.
I Corinthians 13 and Colossians 3 outline the character of a Son or Daughter of the Living God. Whoever keeps the Word of God is the one in whom true love abides.
